About the artist

Julie Curwick was born in Queens, New York, and moved to Kingman in October 1990. She is 56 years old, and has worked at MCC as the Assistant to the Associate Dean of General Education for nearly 10 years. She worked for three years as a Registration Clerk before she became an assistant. She has always enjoyed miniatures and has been building dollhouses and furniture from a very young age, and over the past 10 years has become more immersed in making shadow boxes.
