About the author

Joe Ketchum has been a member of the English Faculty at MCC for five years. They have a masters degree in playwriting from Western Michigan University and are one of the faculty advisors for the BHC Arts Club, which hosts MCC’s annual flash film festival. This documentary was featured at this year’s festival in March and features dogs competing in a sport called Rat Games, where they race to find as many rats as possible in the fastest time. Their dog River has been competing in the sport for the past couple of years and Joe looks forward to returning to Chicago after the semester to see River and the rest of their family.
