Lake Havasu City Sunset
Summer in Havasu
In May, the flowers bloom a great wonder.
Little ones prance and skip in the garden.
Poppies, lilies, and roses encumber.
Critters and creatures scurry in margin.
In June, the sun will shine a bit brighter.
The weather warms and smiles will widen.
Music plays loud and people drink cider.
Girls and boys, the water overtaken.
In July, the sky lights up with diamonds.
Sparkling and glittering with colors.
Ash falls down, with lighted horizons.
Awe and wonder shown in multicolor.
Summer is here, the people will follow.
Happy and fun, their hearts never hollow.
